Support Drew Stinson’s Battle with Cancer

If you have met Drew Stinson, you know what an extraordinary and wonderful person he is. To know him, is to love him! He’s a hard-working, dedicated husband, father, son, leader and friend.
Drew’s life was upended when he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer. The cancer has metastasized to his bones – specifically his spine, ribs, lower back and left shoulder. Drew has always been a constant source of strength, light and support to those around him and now needs our love and support as he begins a new treatment process.
Drew’s cancer diagnosis was a devastating shock to everyone, especially because he is still so young. He has faced this journey with tremendous courage, but the reality of this illness is unrelenting. This has led to a series of appointments at Mayo Clinic to see what treatment options are available. In June he will start a new and aggressive form of intravenous radiation at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. This will be administered every 6 weeks for the next 6 months. He will also have isolated radiation done to his shoulder every week for the next few weeks. This treatment is also at The Mayo Clinic and began this week. Each treatment will be a 2-3 day stay in Rochester for Drew and Adrian, which will come at a tremendous cost.
Drew was forced to quit working shortly after his diagnosis and his family has focused on his treatment and care. The medications, daily care and now travel to Mayo have started to create a financial burden on Drew and his loved ones.
We have created this GoFundMe to rally around Drew and his family, ensuring they have the resources to focus on his care rather than the financial stress this horrible disease has caused.
Beyond financial support, we ask for your encouragement and positivity that these treatments will work to give Drew a better quality of life, as well as a longer life. He and Adrian have been SO strong through all of this and the love they share for one another is truly beautiful and inspiring!
